A report on progress of Project “Uneducated Children”

Executive structure:

Identification Team:
In the first step, this team members will identify target children in “Khak Sefid” place and compile the needed information about them.
Investigation and research team:
This Team will
1. Undertake researching on issues such as psychology of addiction, modalities of treating addiction in Iran and other countries of the world, poverty and its cause in societies, particularities of poor families and deprived areas, studying the nature of some type of narcotics available in the country and the results of their consumption, familiarization with “Khak Sefid” place, etc.
2. Prepare educational packages in conformity with the environmental and family conditions of these children, and reduction and prevention damages resulting from possible threats.
3. Hold a seminar concerning uneducated children, in universities level and as a mid-term objective, and will invite professors and researchers to present their essays as a mid time objective within the coming year.
Legal Team:
1. Will review the existing educational rules and regulations and the constitution of Iran and other countries (almost all the assistance seeking children have problems, in terms of their ages, to enter a school, and some of them lack identity papers).
2. Take action and follow up acquiring ID for children lacking it.
3. Prepare reports on offences and punishments concerning addiction and narcotics sale.
Education Team:
1. Will attract the needed teachers to educate the children, to be covered by this project, and help them catch up with other children of their age and enter official schools as soon as possible.
2. Appoint education protector for these children before and after entering school.
3. Temporarily register the children in schools (in cases where there is no legally preventing problem except lack of identity and educational backwardness can be compensated in short times).
4. Make use the consultants for resolving learning problems of the children, pre educating the children, and taking psychological tests when necessary.
5. Hold sessions to introduce the children and the Project implementing members and teachers to each other.

Financial Affairs Team:
This team, with the aim of promoting the project, will absorb the assistance of charitable people to be used for educating the deprived children, paying honorary of the teachers, establishing and running its permanent premises in Khak Sefid for the purpose of holding needed courses in the long run, and payment of other expenses.
